Red Rose Amber Ale - 5.5% -

The Red Rose is a most original Amber Ale - the result of high fermentation (with ale yeast) at an unusually low (lager-like) temperature. This robust, rich brew, with fruity, malty flavors, is nonetheless crisp, refreshing, and dry. As a rose ? extravagantly layered, expansively fragrant, and just a bit prickly.  An interpretation of the classic San Francisco steam beer style.

Mikkeller Jackie Brown - 6% -

Had it been Quentin Tarantinos heroine Jackie Brown, she would probably have said, Shut your raggedy ass up, and that would have been that. But this is Mikkellers Jackie Brown and it somewhat more mildly mannered. In fact this beautiful, brown beer characteristically; roasted malt taste nearly ends like chocolate on the tongue. And then it wouldn't be a Mikkeller beer if it wasn't well hopped. Here the green gold makes an otherwise dark beer surprisingly fresh and easy to drink.

Water, malt (pale, munich, cara-pils, cara-crystal, brown and chocolate), flaked oats, hops (nugget, simcoe and centennial) and ale yeast.
